Hello there,
It’s the last day of October, the year is coming to an end. I want to give reasons for my disappearance but I can’t come up with anything tangible. The last quarter of the year has always been a difficult period for me, mostly because of the weather. However, I made a promise this year not to sleep through this period, to show up and do the work even if my system is against it.
How are you? I mean, how are you really doing? Behind the mask and daily we movee, I hope you pause to check in with yourself. I hope you don’t get lost in the hustle and forget what is most important to you. What are you holding on to? Why do you do what you do? These are questions to which their answers give me perspective when I don’t feel much like myself. Renewing your intentions will also help you take note of the most important thing to you. The things to hold on to when those dreams seem unrealistic and farther away, when the time is running out and you just don’t seem to have it together.

As you go into the new week, I wish you the strength to keep pushing and striving. I wish you sabr to keep holding on to the pieces you’ve solved already. I pray you don’t lose faith in yourself to somehow put together the pieces of the puzzle. I pray you don’t lose faith in Tawakkul as He is the master cruciverbalist.
I want to leave you with this beautiful quote by Aishah Ajetunmobi, a member of Beyond the Stereotype Tribe who I can’t help but admire for her views and perspectives.
Your life is nothing more than a love story between you and Allah. Every person, every experience, every gift, every loss, every pain is sent to your path for one reason and one reason only: To bring you back to Him.
With love and peace,
Umaynah
